Orientation weeks

During the first weeks as a new student in Uppsala you can chose to take part in the orientation weeks. Older students work together to make the first time at the University as welcoming as possible, and to teach the new students about the life in Uppsala.

UTN is behind three of the different orientation weeks, the Engineering and Computer Science Reception, The Orientation Weeks for the Preparatory Year, and the Master Reception. A few of UTN's section associations are doing their own introductory weeks in parallel with UTN's.

The orientation weeks are greatly appreciated by the new students, and provides a smooth and informative introduction to the time in Uppsala. Loads of fun activities are mixed with information meetings, often in parallel with the easy start of real courses.
