It is nice to see that you found your way to this page! You might already know that this page contains information about the Photo Contest? Well, if you did not know it before, you know it now!

It is time to clean the camera lens, control the flashlight and go out hunting for the perfect program picture!

What is the aim of the Photo Contest?

This summer, UTN will launch the project Competence Guide. The aim of the Competence Guide is to promote your programme against companies by telling them about the abilities you should have when graduating. Together with an informative text about your program there will also be a program picture in the guide. And it is the perfect program picture that UTN is hoping that you will find. 

If my picture is the best, what will I get?

If you have taken one of the 32 winning pictures, you will of course recieve honour and fame, but you will also get one of the 32 cinema tickets that's in the pot. (Since there are 32 programmes at SciTech).

What makes a photo into the perfect programme photo?

The perfect programme photo:

  • Contains students from a programme.
  • Depicts active students.
  • Has (preferably) no teachers involved.
  • Is unique in one way or another. Use your fantasy!

Rules

  • All persons at the pictures have given their consent to that the picture will be used in UTN-contexts.
  • The persons at the picture are studying at the programme that the picture is competing to be a program picture for.
  • You have taken the picture yourself.
  • Only one person can compete with one specific picture. Several persons can not compete with the same picture.
  • One person can compete with several pictures for one or many different programmes.
  • The picture is in the format png, gif, jpg or jpeg.
  • The picture has a maximal size at 10 MB.
  • The winners are appointed by a jury. The jury's decision can not be appealed.

Anything else?

If your picture is one of the winning pictures, you will give the non-exclusive rights to UTN to use your picture in what way UTN wishes. UTN has no permission to give the picture to a third part.

Participation

You will send your picture to arb@utn.se. The last day of participation are going to be the 29th of June. Mark the email’s title with “KG:’programme’” and attach your picture. And do not forget to write your name, phone number and email address in the mail.
