Letter from Master Committee 2012 to New Master Students
Welcome to Uppsala Union of Engineering and Science Students, UTN, and congratulations to your decision to study here at the Faculty of Science and Technology at Uppsala University! We as the 2012 Master Student Reception Committee would like to congratulate you in becoming a student of the Uppsala University community. Being part of this is a great honor and privilege with prestige and respect, for Uppsala University being Sweden’s oldest and most renowned university.
You are about to open a door that may lead you to unforgettable experiences. Experiences only a student of Uppsala University will ever encounter. The Master Committee will show you some of the most fascinating projects of UTN during the reception weeks in the coming month.
You have the chance to experience campus life of Uppsala University with help from our committee and from UTN. You have the chance to experience diverse topics from sports to music and vivid local culture in our multicultural atmosphere. You have the unique chance to see Uppsala city and discover the fascinating 13 student nations with students from countries all across the world. You are welcomed and hosted here as a friend.
The Master Committee consists of eight students from the SciTech faculty, all of whom have worked the entire summer to prepare for you arrival and plan great reception activities for you. We are here to make your adaption and arrival in Uppsala as smooth as possible, as well as give you a head start of your stay here. We heartily appreciate your joining in our community and look forward to seeing you in the campus soon!
