Case work

Case work is an essential aspect of monitoring of student interests that offers individualised support for students at Uppsala University.

Case work involve the student liaison officers offering support and advice to individual students who encounter specific problems or issues related to their education. This can include anything from help with questions about examination and exam rectification to support in case of disagreement with teachers or other education-related disputes.

Student liaison officers are trained to be able to provide guidance in these cases and ensure that the rights and best interests of students are taken into account. They often work closely with other functions within the university, such as study counsellors and management personnel, to ensure that the student receives the right support and information.

Case work are an important part of the monitoring of student interests' overall goal of ensuring a fair and high-quality education for all students. By offering individually tailored assistance, the union strengthens students' ability to deal with the challenges that may arise during their studies.
